Portfolio

Modemaus

Modemaus is my personal side project - it's a web app designed to let guitar players have a reference for scales and modes at the touch of a few buttons! The newest feature which I'm very proud of is the Search feature, which uses basic regular expressions and built-in javascript String functions to translate user input into a usable result. I also added a "Search History" feature, which allows users to go back to scales they've already looked up with just one click.

I've reworked this app quite a bit for speed and efficiency, and I'm currently working on version 4, which will maximize the usability of the two-panel selector design pattern with features like Extras on Demand. The next version will also be compatible with a wider range of devices, and also add some new useful scales for guitar players!

Emilia Jozefa is a photographer and graduate from School of Visual Arts, NY. She needed a very basic portfolio webpage for showing to potential employers. I elected to use XML and Spry for ease of updating in the future. I am currently in the process of bidding on a redesign for this website, bringing up to complete web standards and using a PHP/MySQL CMS so that Emilia can update these galleries on her own.
